Our customers are very important to us.  Manfrotto Distribution and C.R.I.S. (Camera Repair Instrument Service) are partnering to bring you the best service experience possible. Acting as the authorized factory service provider for Manfrotto Distribution in the United States, CRIS is equipped and ready to fulfill all your service needs.

Manfrotto brands that will be serviced at CRIS include Manfrotto, Gitzo, Elinchrom, Rotatrim, National Geographic, Kata, Metz, Lastolite, Gossen and Avenger. CRIS’s long-standing quality assurance process will ensure that repairs for all of Manfrotto Distribution’s brands and products are inspected and approved before leaving their facility. CRIS promises a full satisfaction guarantee on repairs and labor for 90 days and provides online tracking throughout the repair process. Its streamlined repair and inventory process ensures for ultimate efficiency and factory authorized quality means only original factory parts are used.

Please note: Manfrotto Distribution U. S. is authorized to service and ship equipment within the United States only. For all service, in or out of warranty, a valid U.S. shipping address must accompany the repair.

As an alternative to help determine the correct part for your Manfrotto Distribution equipment (Manfrotto, Gitzo, Kata, National Geographic, Avenger, Metz, Gossen, Elinchrom, Lastolite and Rotatrim), please contact us at parts@manfrottodistribution.us or call the Manfrotto Distribution Parts Department at (201) 818-9500 Ext. 250, or e-mail . We'll help you find the correct spare or replacement part(s), take your order, and start it on its way.
Please note that all parts orders can only be shipped to a valid address within the United States.

REPAIRS
Please call CRIS at (480) 940-1103 prior to sending the equipment in for repair. This may save you time and expense in shipping and returns.

NEW-FOR-OLD TRADE-IN PROGRAM
In the event that the cost of repair for parts and labor is judged by you to be uneconomical or which exceeds 40% of the list price of a new, similar product, Manfrotto Distribution will accept the damaged product in exchange for a goodwill credit for substantial savings of a new replacement. Replacement item may be same item (if available), equivalent product, or trade-up in same category. This will require written acceptance by you prior to proceeding.

Trade-in is not available on items that have been discontinued for more than 5 years. No replacement item will be shipped until CRIS has possession of the trade-in item. Trade-in items become the property of Manfrotto Distribution and will not be returned.

WARRANTY REPAIRS
You must include a copy of the sales receipt or a proof of purchase with your repair. Without this documentation, we will estimate the repair as if it were out of warranty. A return shipping fee will be charged for a refused estimate.

Equipment repaired is warranted for a period of 90 days from the date of repair, or the balance of the new equipment warranty, whichever is longer.

OUT OF WARRANTY REPAIRS
A detailed inspection will be performed on your equipment to determine what repairs are required to restore it to proper working order. An estimate will be provided and repairs will begin once the estimate is approved and payment information is provided.

RUSH REPAIRS
CRIS will work to get your repair back to you as fast as possible, however a $30 rush fee will guarantee a 2 business day turn time (from receipt of the unit to when it leaves the building). In the case of parts acquisition issues or other unforeseen delays when the rush cannot be honored, the rush fee will not be charged.

COVER LETTER FOR REPAIRS
When submitting a repair, please include a letter with the following:

  • Your name
  • Address (for shipping purposes)
  • Telephone number
  • A detailed explanation of the problem you are experiencing

UNAPPROVED ESTIMATES
In the event that a repair estimate is not approved by the customer within 90 days or CRIS does not hear from the customer within 90 days, the goods will be disposed of.

WHERE TO SEND REPAIRS
All repairs must be sent prepaid. Equipment which is repaired under warranty without charge will be returned with normal transportation charges prepaid by CRIS.

When shipping your unit to CRIS, please make sure to pack the unit well to ensure that no damage is caused in transit. A poorly packaged unit can sometimes turn a warranty repair into an out-of-warranty repair. We recommend a sturdy box or carton with adequate packing material on all sides. CRIS assumes no responsibility for damages incurred due to improper packaging.
